Choose The Women Who Choose You

I was reminded of a lesson in Las Vegas that most people NEVER understand…

You should only deal with people you instantly vibe with.

Not people you have to convince.

Not people you have to impress.

Not people you’re texting 17 times while staring at your phone wondering why the fuck they haven’t responded.

The people who choose you.

Let me tell you how I was reminded of this lesson.

I was in Vegas.

I hit Tao nightclub.

Talked to a few women.

Nothing happened.

And you know what?

The vibe wasn’t there.

So I left.

I eventually ended up at Drai’s nightclub around 2 a.m.

The line was absolutely fucking insane.

I looked at it.

Looked at the people.

Looked at the whole situation.

And thought:

Nope.

I vanished.

That’s one of the great advantages of being a magician.

You learn to disappear.

So I went to the Cosmopolitan and ended up at Vesper bar.

It’s around 2-something in the morning.

The bar is basically empty.

It’s just me.

My drink.

And a beautiful Latina sitting at the bar.

Now, this is Vegas.

So naturally my first thought was:

“Is this woman working?”

But I watched her for a minute.

She talked to the bartender.

I watched her mannerisms.

Her energy.

The way she carried herself.

And I thought:

Nah.

So I walked over.

And I actually joked with her about thinking she was a hooker.

Which, somehow, went over extremely well.

We started laughing.

Then talking.

Then talking some more.

And suddenly it’s 3:30 in the morning.

No game.

No fucking strategy.

No pickup routine.

No pretending to be somebody I’m not.

Just two people who happened to click.

And then she invited me up to her room overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.

So there I am.

A few hours earlier I’m standing in a nightclub looking at a gigantic line thinking, fuck this.

Now I’m waking up in a luxury room high above Vegas with a beautiful woman I met at an empty bar.

And the thought that hit me wasn’t:

“Damn, I’m the man.”

It was:

“Holy shit.

This is how it’s supposed to work.”

STOP CHASING

There are men who would have approached that woman and immediately gone into sales mode.

Flowers.

Compliments.

Instagram DMs.

Good morning texts.

Good night texts.

Dates.

Flights.

Long-distance situations.

Maybe even chasing her across the fucking Pacific Ocean.

Meanwhile, Beau Magic was having a drink at the bar.

We talked.

We laughed.

We connected.

And less than an hour later, I’m upstairs overlooking the Strip.

That’s the difference between chasing and being chosen.

When there’s genuine mutual attraction, everything becomes dramatically easier.

You don’t have to manufacture chemistry.

You don’t have to negotiate attraction.

You don’t have to convince somebody that you’re worth their time.

They already decided.

THE BIGGEST DATING MISTAKE MEN MAKE

Men often think dating is about getting someone to choose them.

Wrong.

Dating is about discovering who already wants to choose you.

Those are completely different games.

One makes you a salesman.

The other makes you a selector.

And I would rather be a selector.

I’m not interested in convincing a woman that she should like me.

I want the woman who already likes me.

I’m not interested in chasing somebody who gives me 40% enthusiasm.

Give me the woman who looks at me and thinks:

“I want this guy.”

That’s infinitely more interesting.

CHEMISTRY IS FAST

People love to overcomplicate attraction.

They’ll tell you to wait three days.

Don’t text too quickly.

Say this.

Don’t say that.

Use this opener.

Use that opener.

Create scarcity.

Create jealousy.

Make her wonder.

Manipulate the frame.

Jesus Christ.

Sometimes you just fucking click.

You meet somebody.

Five minutes later you’re laughing like you’ve known each other for years.

The conversation flows.

There’s eye contact.

There’s curiosity.

There’s tension.

Nobody wants to leave.

That’s chemistry.

And chemistry doesn’t require a 37-step marketing funnel.

You know.

VEGAS TAUGHT ME SOMETHING ELSE

Vegas is probably one of the best places in the world to learn this because everything is exaggerated.

Status is exaggerated.

Money is exaggerated.

Beauty is exaggerated.

Nightlife is exaggerated.

Competition is exaggerated.

And everybody is trying to get somewhere.

So you can easily fall into the trap of thinking:

“I need to compete harder.”

Go to the bigger club.

Dress better.

Spend more.

Talk to more women.

Get the VIP table.

Stay until 5 a.m.

Chase harder.

But sometimes the smartest move is simply:

Leave.

Leave the line.

Leave the club.

Leave the conversation that isn’t going anywhere.

Leave the person who isn’t reciprocating.

Go somewhere else.

That’s what happened to me.

I didn’t “win” Tao.

I didn’t conquer Drai’s.

I left.

And that led me to the empty bar.

Which led me to the woman.

Which led me to the room overlooking the Strip.

The best thing that happened that night happened because I was willing to walk away from what wasn’t working.

CHOOSE THE WOMEN WHO CHOOSE YOU

This doesn’t mean sit in your apartment waiting for women to magically appear.

You still have to live.

You still have to approach.

You still have to flirt.

You still have to take risks.

You still have to put yourself in rooms where interesting people exist.

But once you meet someone?

Pay attention to reciprocity.

Does she engage?

Does she ask questions?

Does she laugh?

Does she move closer?

Does she make it easy to continue the interaction?

Does she initiate?

Does she seem genuinely interested?

Good.

Keep going.

If you’re doing 90% of the work?

Move on.

There are billions of people on this planet.

You don’t need to convince one person.

THE MAGICIAN’S RULE

Here’s the rule I live by now:

Don’t chase the person who needs convincing.

Find the person who sees you.

Because when someone genuinely sees you, you don’t have to perform.

You can be weird.

You can be funny.

You can be quiet.

You can tell the stupid joke.

You can talk about philosophy.

You can talk about magic.

You can be yourself.

And somehow…

They are still there.

That’s the woman I want.

Not the woman I successfully manipulated into liking me.

Not the woman I spent six months trying to impress.

Not the woman whose attention I had to purchase.

The woman who chose me.

Because at the end of the night, the greatest luxury isn’t getting access to somebody.

It’s finding somebody who wants access to you.

So go to Vegas.

Go to the club.

Talk to the beautiful woman.

Take the shot.

But if the vibe isn’t there?

Disappear.

There might be an empty bar around the corner.

And maybe, just maybe, the person you’re supposed to meet is sitting there waiting for somebody exactly like you.

Choose the women who choose you.
