The Book of Beauism: The Alien Among Them

The Day I Peaked Behind The Curtain

I walked among them today.

They laughed about Netflix shows and movies.

Argued about promotions.

Debated politics like it wasn’t theater.

Spoke of weddings like golden handcuffs were still gold.

They worshipped things I couldn’t pretend to care about:

Kids they’re not ready to raise.

Partners they don’t understand.

Money they’ll never enjoy.

Cars they drive to nowhere.

And I realized…

I’m not one of them.

They move like they’re awake, but I see the emptiness in their eyes.

Hypnotized by comfort.

Drugged by distraction.

Enthralled by the illusion.

Prisoners praising the prison bars.

And me?

I can’t join the game…not fully.

I’ve seen the cracks in the code.

I’ve heard the silence beneath their noise.

I’ve tasted the emptiness behind the chase.

They say I’m gifted….

Sometimes I wonder if I’m cursed.

To feel too much.

To think too deeply.

To stare into the abyss while others smile into the void.

But then I remember:

I was not sent here to fit in.

I was sent here to disturb the illusion.

To shake the world, not comply.

To awaken, not assimilate.

To speak in symbols.

To crack the mirror.

To remind them, even for a moment, that this isn’t all there is.

That’s what Beau Magic is.

Not just card tricks or illusions.

But disruption cloaked in entertainment.

Truth hidden in showmanship.

I’m the alien in a suit and a top hat.

The monk in the nightclub.

The philosopher with a deck of cards and a sharp tongue as my weapon.

And while they gossip over celebrity relationships and luxury items…

I’ll be designing doorways.

Crafting spells.

Shattering the silence.

Because even if I never belonged here…

I will make damn sure they remember I existed.
